JASON SMITH DIRECTOR QUANTITY SURVEYING

Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Quantity Surveyors (FNZIQS)
Jason is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over 30 years’ experience in the construction industry, both in the UK and in NZ. Jason has extensive experience in the whole life cycle of projects, across a wide range of industries. Jason is able to apply this broad experience to your project in order to ensure a successful outcome. Jason founded Quantitas in early 2009, which has since established itself as a trustworthy and reliable property and construction consultancy. Jason oversees the estimation and cost management side of the business from the Hamilton office. Jason is married, has two children and enjoys tinkering with Volkswagens in his spare time.
RUTH DRAY-SMITH Finance and Administration Manager
Bachelor of Commerce (University of Auckland)
Ruth has had a diverse background working across several sectors, including freight and distribution, Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), Human Services and Property Consultation. Her past roles have included: eight years as Finance Manager for multi-national company in the FMCG industry three years as Regional Accountant for one of NZ’s largest not for profit organisation. This varied experience has led Ruth to hone her financial skills and this enables her to bring a wealth of knowledge in dealing with stakeholders, systems, policies and processes. Outside of work, Ruth is a mother and enjoys gardening, camping and outdoor activities in her spare time.
FABIAN NEUHAUSER SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Fabian joined Quantitas in 2014 after a short period with Placemakers, where he started his career. Fabian quickly became a key asset to the QS Team. Now with over ten years of experience in the construction industry, Fabian has a broad and impressive track record of completed projects. Fabian is lead Quantity Surveyor on a number of Hamilton and Auckland projects. Fabian enjoys having a wide range of different tasks across multiple projects including estimating, writing construction contracts, tender reviews, bank reporting, cost reporting, and cost valuation / negotiation. Outside of work, Fabian enjoys outdoor activities such as skiing and fishing although he also spends a lot of his free time working away in the garden at home.
GRAHAM ABBOTT SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Graham is a seasoned professional bringing in over 20 years of invaluable experience in the New Zealand Construction Industry. His extensive background spans across the commercial, industrial, and civil sectors making him well-versed in all facets of Quantity Surveying, including financial institute reporting, contract administration, estimating and precise measurement techniques. Graham is married and has two children. He enjoys spending time outdoors, and playing a round of golf when he can.
